Hello, I'm Ed!
I'm a director and DP based in London with a focus in socially conscious, factual work.
I’m as confident behind the camera as I am working with crews as a director and interviewer. I regularly take on the edit and grade of my projects.
I direct and produce factual branded and commercial content as well as campaign films for charities and cultural organisations. I’ve created large digital projects for Greta Thunberg, Google DeepMind, Southbank Centre, Hayward Gallery, Barbican Centre, Arts Council and the Almeida Theatre.
My work has also won several awards as well as been featured at international film and documentary festivals.
I have a popular YouTube channel where I post about freelancing, nerdy gear reviews and tutorials.
I have also worked as a radio producer and sound artist, with audio and installation work for the Hayward Gallery, Battersea Arts Centre, Wellcome Collection and Metal. I have produced an award winning documentary for the BBC World Service and have had several pieces of work featured on BBC Radio 4s Short Cuts.
